Covid 19 🩺

What is this virus ?

Most of these are reported from the United States, India, Brazil, Italy, France, Spain and the United Kingdom. The virus continues to spread in other countries. However, there has been a slight slowdown in the spread of the virus, with many countries restricting their day-to-day activities and restricting their people to their homes (lockdowns).

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the coronavirus a global pandemic due to its easy transmission from person to person in many parts of the world.

The coronavirus is a large 'family' of viruses that cause illnesses that can range from the common cold to severe chronic respiratory illness. However, the new coronavirus (nCoV) virus has not been identified in humans.

Coronavirus is transmitted from animal to human. Detailed tests have previously shown that the SARS-CoV virus (SARS-CoV), which has spread around the world, has been transmitted to humans by camels and MERS-CoV. Several coronaviruses that have not yet infected humans have been identified as circulating among animals.

A person infected with this virus can develop symptoms such as respiratory illness, fever, cough, shortness of breath and difficulty breathing. In more severe cases, pneumonia, severe chronic respiratory disease, kidney failure and even death can occur.

What are the symptoms of the new coronavirus disease?

The new coronavirus, called Kovid-19, causes a respiratory illness. It starts with a fever and then develops into a dry cough. After a week, there is difficulty in breathing and some patients may need to be hospitalized and treated. Just because you have these symptoms does not mean you are infected with the coronavirus. These symptoms are similar to those of other common viral infections, such as the flu and the common cold.

In addition, coronavirus infections can cause pneumonia, SARS, organ failure, and even death.

Which countries are affected by the coronavirus?

The coronavirus, which originated in China, is spreading rapidly worldwide, and has now infected more than 34 million people in more than 210 countries. More than a million people have been killed so far.
